What types of questions can First-Gens reach out to you about?
I'm new to U of I so am still learning about campus resources, but I'd be happy to talk to First Gen students about their challenges with finances, logistics and family support/understanding of our goals and struggles. I have a master's degree and a PhD, so I can also discuss grad school possibilities with them. And if they are interested in my disciplinary area of management and organization-based identities, I can discuss these with them as well.
